Processing of your Personal Data
Your personal data is processed by FairConnect in the name and on behalf of the company that initiated the trial process of the myFC mobile application:

Your personal data may only be shared with your company, and we take all necessary steps to ensure that your company gives this data the same level of protection that we provide you. Any transmission to third party companies is subject to your prior agreement and that of your Company. FairConnect's services are integrated on servers hosted in Switzerland and no data is transferred outside Switzerland or the European Union.
What types of Personal Data do we process?
We do not collect any sensitive information about you, such as racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious opinions, or any information about your trade union membership, health or sex life.
By using our myFC mobile application, you are asked to provide us with information, some of which may identify you ("Personal Data"). In particular, with reference to filling out the first registration form, when you contact us - by phone, e-mail or any other means of communication - or when you report a problem.
The Personal Data we process includes the following personal information:
1. Name
2. Mobile phone number
3. Travel with motor vehicles.
To detect and analyze a vehicle's trips, the app uses location data that may be collected even when the app is not in use (location data in background). The app processes your speed and direction to calculate your driving indicators.
In addition, we process Personal Data relating to your driving habits and your use of services, such as:
1. SafetyScore: calculated from acceleration/braking events or loss of grip events detected during your journeys,
2. Driver distraction: i.e. how you interact with your smartphone (unlocking/using the screen) during your journeys,
3. Eco-driving: calculated based on acceleration, speed maintenance or deceleration detected during your journeys
4. Driving tips given to you at the end of your trips,
5. Your potential participation in one or more Challenges,
6. Scoring based on compliance with speed limits (in accordance with local legislation).
For what purpose will your Personal Data be processed?
By sharing your Personal Data with FairConnect, you can:
1. Register and log in to the myFC mobile application,
2. Take advantage of driver-centric services (safety score, eco-driving score, distraction score) that can lead to driving recommendations and notifications related to your trips,
3. Access the challenges offered in the app
4. Enable your company to analyze data, which it can then leverage via one of FairConnect's products.
NB. You can turn off notifications at any time in your smartphone's settings.
How long do we keep your Personal Data?
Unless expressly requested otherwise, your Personal Data will be retained for a maximum of 2 years after the end of your use of the myFC application.
Legal Compliance and Security
We may be required – by law, legal proceedings, litigation and/or requests from public or government authorities inside or outside your country of residence – to disclose your Personal Data. We may also disclose your personal information if we are required to do so for national security, public order, or other matters of public interest, where such disclosure is necessary and appropriate. If the law allows, we will notify you in advance of the transfer of your data.
We may also disclose personal information if we believe, in good faith, that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights and remedies, to enforce our terms and conditions, to investigate a case of fraud, or to protect our operations or users.
What are your rights?
As part of the aforementioned processing operations, you have the right to request access to your Personal Data in a structured standard format, modification and deletion of your data. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data or to request a restriction of such processing.
In any case, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may change our Privacy Policy in accordance with our legal obligations. We recommend that you check this page regularly for any changes or updates to this document.
